Our commitment
Dynamicnumbers Professional Corporation is committed to providing an accessible website and to meeting our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we have done
This site was rebuilt with accessibility as a requirement rather than an afterthought. Specifically:
- A “skip to content” link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches on every page.
- Every form control has a visible, properly associated label. Errors are described in text and announced to screen readers, not signalled by colour alone.
- Text and interface colours were checked against WCAG contrast ratios, and our accent colour has separate light and dark variants so it stays legible on both backgrounds.
- All functionality works by keyboard. Menus expose their state, close on Escape, and focus is always visible.
- Links are given meaningful names rather than a bare “read more”, and icon-only links carry screen-reader text.
- Headings follow a logical order, with one first-level heading per page.
- Animation is reduced automatically if your device requests it.
- Layouts reflow down to small screens and remain usable at 200% zoom.
- Light, dark and system colour themes are available, and the site respects your operating system preference by default.
- The map on our contact page does not load until you ask it to, so it never traps keyboard focus unexpectedly.
Known limitations
The interactive map on our contact page is a Google product. Once loaded, its accessibility is outside our control, which is one reason the address is always available as plain text and as a standard link alongside it.
